The Rupali Baildon is a “Local family Business since 1996”.
The Owners of the Rupali always wanted to provide a unique service in their own locality.
Our aim was (and still is) to provide the very highest standard of Bangladeshi Cuisine, but at affordable prices.
We have continued to improve and add to the menu over the years, without compromising on standards.
We have a uniquely different approach to Indian cuisine which allows the restaurant to stand out from the many other Indian restaurants in our area.
Other restaurants have come and gone, but we are proud to continue providing the favourite dishes of our loyal customers (and friends).
Bangladeshi Dishes at the Rupali, Baildon.
At the Rupali, Baildon, we believe that Bangladeshi dishes stand out (and should be), very different from mainstream Indian food.
It is much more important that spices are introduced to the cooking, in order to add special flavours, not just to make the meal hotter.
You are welcome to order hotter meals, but our specials in particular concentrate on the flavour rather than the heat.
Rupali in the community.
Curry Awards - In 2008, Local MP Philip Davies nominated the RUPALI in Baildon to join 54 restaurants in the competition heats to continue Bradfords excellent tradition of producing Indian food to the very highest standards.
Football - Many of our loyal customers remind us that when we were younger (and more able), we had our own 5 a side football team and proudly displayed the trophy we won as centre piece on the serving counter.
